PROGRAMME

Our Programme has a strong technical and scientific approach towards AI research: mathematical AI foundations and hands-on programming make up a large part of the curriculum. It consists of compulsory core courses, specialisation courses and a thesis. The programme covers a wide range of topics, such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Parallel Computing, Fairness and Intelligent Agents. In courses on these topics you build a solid understanding of AI.

All courses are taught by world-renowned researchers who are experts in their field. The majority of lecturers are also involved in collaborative research with industry players so you benefit from in-depth knowledge of AI applications in practical situations.

Our programme lasts over 2 semesters (1 year) or 4 semesters (2 years) depending on whether you register a part time or full-time student. You have two options for participating in our AI master programme: You can register as a full-time student over 2 semesters (1 year) or you have an option to take half of the courses normally offered per semester, resulting in the part-time Programme lasting four semesters (2 years).

We follow blended learning combining online courses with classical hands-on exercise courses.
